THE THEME FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR: | MISSION imPOSSIBLE |
ACADEMICS | Eagles, Preparing for Success: The Road to SOLs As we move deeper into the spring, our focus at Elko is crystal clear: ensuring every student is ready to soar on their Standards of Learning (SOL) assessments. Our staff is currently "drilling down" at the individual student level. We aren't just looking at classrooms; we are looking at every single child to ensure they have the specific support they need to feel confident and prepared. Our comprehensive support plan is in full swing, including: Targeted Remediation: Focused review sessions on key concepts. Direct Intervention: Small group support to bridge learning gaps. Tutoring & Coaching: One-on-one guidance to sharpen skills. A Call for Teamwork As I have shared over the past month, your partnership is our greatest asset. We ask for your continued support in reinforcing these efforts at home. To keep our students motivated, we have created several incentives to celebrate their hard work and encourage them to give their absolute best effort. Working as a team, we can ensure every student is prepared, poised, and ready to succeed! Staff & Student Shout-Out We want to give a massive shout-out to Mr. Calder for organizing a fantastic Inaugural Signing Day here at Elko! It was a joy to see the pride on the faces of our students and parents as they signed their Specialty Center Certificates. Thank you to everyone who came out to make this milestone moment so memorable for our scholars. Go Eagles! |
